A simple point counting diet program

The best diet program that has worked for me is Weight Watchers. I lost 35 lbs on Weight Watchers about 4 years ago and have been able to maintain it since.

Weight Watchers uses a points system in which each food that you put in your mouth is allocated a set number of points, and you have a minimum and maximum number of points per day. For example, many vegetables are considered zero points (ex: lettuce, and other greens) so you can have lots of veggies throughout the day. Fruits more or less are about 1-2 points, depending on the size and sugar/calorie content. Proteins generally are around 1 point per ounce and fats or fatty foods will have more points allocated to them, as expected.

So as you can see, it is very reasonable to be able to eat a sufficient amount of food and feel full throughout the day depending on the foods you choose. This is a great way to encourage healthy eating (i.e. increase the veggies and reduce fatty foods), which is a great way to encourage a healthy habit for the long-run. Also, the program has great online or in person support to help you stay on the path towards a healthy weight. There is flexibility in this plan so that you don’t feel like you’re cheating and you feel much better about yourself during this diet. It actually does not feel like a diet, more like a lifestyle because you can still eat the foods you like, but you control the serving sizes (and they’re not ridiculously small servings!).

Before starting Weight Watchers, I felt really down and low about my body but within one week of starting the program, I could already feel the benefits and felt much better about myself! I ended up losing 35 lbs in about 6 months, it’s a slow loss, but I’ve been able to maintain most of it since.

The Only Diet Program I Have Tried

I have tried diet supplements which have not worked. The only weight program I tried is Weight Watchers and I got good results. Before I started I felt sluggish, tired and stressed out. When I started attending Weight Watchers I was not to sure about it. At first I was over whelmed with points and tracking what I eat etc. I never did write down what foods I ate, I just keep track of the total points I was allowed by using their mathematical formula.

The first 3 weeks I lost 7lbs and I was feeling better. I was feeling more energized and noticing a different in my clothes in certain areas. People were commenting on my weightloss but I was not totally satisfied. I felt like I barely made a dent. I keep the formula and try to keep doing what they have taught. My weight is always up and down and that is the most frustrating part. The calculation of points is not easy to find on the WeightWatchers website. I used dwlz.com for the points counter.

My Experience of My Diet Program

MY EXPERIENCE OF MY DIET PROGRAM: Name : Santosh

I wish to start my experience. I am 21 years old and i was a perfect obese person. I was feeling very lethargic and had very fewer friends as i was a bit lazy. One day i decided to end it all. I decided to start a strict diet programs. I was a bit comprehensive in the beginning but after that I started getting momentum. First of all I cut down extra fats from my diet. I cut down heavily on extra cheese, sweet items. My diet structure was like this - In the morning I used to have 2 bananas, 2 apples and some sprouted beans. After that I used to drink 3 glasses of water. I used to do lunch at 2:30 with some rice, papayas, cashew nuts and some warm water. In the evening I used to had a glass of pineapple juice and some peanuts. At night time, I used to have fish in the evening with some milk. This was my diet routine and I got the best results with sticking to do this diet program. You can see that I had heavily cut down on fats.

I was frightened before starting this diet program. Moreover I was a bit disappointed that I would not be able to eat fat foods. When I started this diet program , i was delighted that i had lost 6 lbs in 3 weeks. This was also because i used to exercise besides this. My waist was down to 34 from 38.

Yes I have continued with the same program. It is also easy to find the methods and products that helped me on this web site.
