Went on what is called the tuna water diet. 3 days of eating nothing but straight tuna. (no Mayo) and drinking nothing but water. (all you want) work out 3 days a week and walk my pugs Walter and Josie for 2 miles each morning, but am having trouble losing that middle age spread.
I felt I needed to do something to shake up my routine. This diet is tough. The first day went well. I ate 6 cans of tuna. That’s 1 can about every 3 hours. I drank well over a gallon of water. The second day I cheated in the afternoon and had some celery sticks. (no big deal) The third day the tuna was talking to me. I squeezed some fresh lemon on the first batch and some balsaminic vinegar on others. It helped without boosting calories. More celery please! When it came time to eat my 18th can of the week i baulked and had a bowl of berries.
This is a diet I wouldn’t like to repeat very soon. Maybe again in a couple of months. Next time I’ll add bananas for the cramps.

I weighed myself at the gym on my fourth day after a bagle and bacon breakfast. I had lost seven pounds in 3 days! None of it muscle. I went into a new hole on my belt.
That night I got the side effects, leg cramps. I got those off and on for 3 days, and then they stopped just like that.
This is a diet I wouldn’t like to repeat very soon. Maybe again in a couple of months. Next time I’ll add bananas for the cramps.
